
Germany Donate Rubberboat to IMSCB
Taking place at 14.00 (Indonesian western time), dated 9 February 2007, in audio-visual room of the Indonesia Maritime Security Coordinating Board office, Jalan DR. Sutomo 11, Central Jakarta, the executive chair of the Indonesia Maritime Security Coordinating Board, the vice admiral Djoko Sumaryono symbolically received eight rubber boats as German aid, which were handed over by Herr D. Aldrine of the electronic ATLAS. The German-made rubber boats will be used to help the flood victims in Jakarta. The hand-over ceremony was followed by the official launching of Bakorkamla’s homepage (http://www.bakorkamla.go.id) after securing a written license from the state minister for communication and information the day before. The event was attended by representatives of Bakorkamla’s stakeholders, heads of Bakorkamla (Indonesia Maritime Security Coordinating Board) and reporters from printed and electronic media.
